The Bennington School Inc. Educational Program takes pride in the mission to support students in educational services through a variety of multi-modal approaches to meet the unique needs and individual talents of each student.  Bennington School, Inc. is an approved Independent School by the Vermont Department of Education for students ages 8-21.  The Educational Program services Regular Education and Special Education students with trained professionals through a low student to teacher ratio, integrating a variety of differentiated instructional methods.  Professional teachers, clinicians, and supportive educational staff provide on-going instruction and mentorship throughout the educational day to assist each student in reaching his/her potential.  A variety of educational credentials and career experiences from the professional staff provide an exceptional opportunity for student success.

A variety of curricula is offered through the Educational Program including traditional courses, pre-employment skills, wilderness adventure activities, career exploration, fine arts, and civic responsibility.  Interactive community activities are also available to assist students in successful community relations. Activities such as historical field trips to museums, local public library visits, and theater activities are on-going.  Independent studies can also be provided to support a variety of educational goals including career planning, remedial coursework, pre-college coursework, and other specific academic electives.
